Take you got a minor injury unit almost y'all?
Otherwise, yous tin can get drawing ointment which you lot put on for a few days which can assist bring the splinter upwardly - but equally from your description it sounds like it could be getting infected, I think I'd err on the side of circumspection and get it looked at.
My general philosophy would otherwise exist to exit it for a few days every bit they usually piece of work their own fashion dorsum up to the surface.

Did you put Savlon cream on the plasters? I've establish a good wodge of that with a big plaster over the top afterwards a soak in the tube works.

Buy some magnesium sulphate paste, a melolin dressing and some micropore tape from a chemist's. Apply a thin layer of the paste to the area where the splinter went in and record dressing over. Give it a couple of days and it should come out-it volition lift and stick to the dressing at which point remove it and put some antiseptic on. If it doesn't, leave it if it isn't painful or uncomfortable, or get to a doctor if it is.
